4. At the top tie a string strand of yarn - about 3 strands - on 1 end loop & also on the other end. 5. Make a knot loop in the center to join to the window sash hardware. 6. Repeat for other windows. 7. There should be a noticible difference, especially when the wind blows. |
Solar Window Cover Directions: These Are Also CAFE. Note: Plastic is the best material to use. Cloth material can be used but will not have the same properties as plastic so will probably not be as effective. Materials Needed for 36" x 32" approx window 1. 1 30 gallon BLACK plastic garbage bag. 2. 2 13 gallon WHITE plastic garbage bags. 3. Glue Stick 4. Reflectix Radiant Barrier Directions: 1. Glue 2 white plastic bags to the black 1 on 1 side. Folding will be necessary. 2. Cut Reflectix to fit inside of black garbage bag. 3. Open window & place on window sill behind the Solar Window Warmer. 4. Viva la difference! on a cold windy day. |

Earth News Window Bubble Wrap - Cut bubble wrap to fit
glass & secure in place. Adaptation: To go on the outside of a double
hung window - lower top of window & use mailing tape
to secure on top of frame. Return window to top. 2. For Double Hung Window Moisture on the Sash. Lay a 1/2 inch Foam Pipe Insulation across the Sash. The Warmth from the Outside (Sun's Rays) will Help Keep Your Sash Dry.
